Girl Takes Couple’s Parking Spot Before The Tables Are Turned

A lot of really good stories involve some kind of revenge; there’s just something so satisfying about a rotten individual getting their comeuppance. But the best revenge stories are the ones that actually happened. Young couple Hunter and Lara learned this lesson when they ran into the wrong people at the wrong time, and utter chaos ensued. They certainly got their spectacular payoff in the end, but not without a little out-of-the-box thinking.

Late Night Craving

Hunter and Lara were relaxing in front of the TV when they started to crave something sweet — specifically, a snack they didn’t have in the apartment. The couple dreamed of Boston creme, jelly filling, and powdered sugar...

Traffic Nightmares

It was 8:30 P.M., so they were in a serious time crunch. See, the only late-night doughnut place was downtown. This meant braving some nightmarish traffic, but they hoped the fried dough would be worth it.

On The Hunt

When they arrived downtown, it was packed with cars and pedestrians. They were determined to make their doughnut dreams a reality, but the bakery was supposed to close at 9 P.M. They had to find a parking spot — and fast.

Time To Parallel Park!

Finally, Hunter saw a street-parking spot open up ahead. It was a rare find, located just beyond the doughnut shop and right on the sidewalk. The couple happily pulled up and prepared to parallel park into the spot.

The Little White Vespa

But just as she and Hunter were starting to parallel park, a “little white Vespa,” as Hunter described, suddenly whipped into the spot. Lara slammed on the breaks and watched as the Vespa screeched to a halt.

Shocked

Hunter and Lara looked at each other in shock. They had been cautious when parallel parking to avoid hitting anything, or worse, anyone, so it was unbelievable that this Vespa had stolen their spot in the blink of an eye.

Tensions Rising

The two young Vespa-driving women, who were most likely college students, looked at Hunter and Lara’s shocked faces and laughed. Beyond annoyed and seriously craving a doughnut, Hunter rolled down his window.

Evil Laughter

“Excuse me, we were just backing in,” he called out to the girls on the Vespa. But instead of apologizing, the girls just laughed again and replied, “Sorry, first come first serve!”

Newfound Determination

At this point, the whole situation had put a pin in Lara’s doughnut dreams, but Hunter had a different idea. He was determined that, rude drivers or not, he and Lara would get their dessert…

Seething

So he told Lara to drop him off in front of the doughnut shop and to pick him up in five minutes. He went into the shop, still seething from the encounter with the Vespa girls.

A Horrible Noise

Worse, his worries about the doughnut shop that time of night came true: It was packed, and the normally filled shelves of doughnuts were emptying quickly. All he could do was wait...which is when he heard a familiar voice.

Yadda Yadda Yadda

It was coming from one of the Vespa girls, who stood right behind him in line. The two girls were so busy talking about doughnuts that they didn’t even notice him. Hearing their voices again was irritating enough for Hunter…

Sweet Inspiration

Until he overheard them say, “Thank God we got a parking spot” before laughing hysterically. Hunter concentrated on deciding which doughnut to order from the two dozen left in the shop...which is when he was struck with sweet inspiration.

That Got Their Attention!

He told the employee that he would like two dozen doughnuts — the exact amount left in the shop. Now, Hunter realized with glee, the Vespa girls were paying attention...and they weren’t happy.

Biting Comeback

“What, you’re not even going to save a few for us?” the Vespa driver asked the employee. At this, Hunter turned around and replied with the comment he’d been waiting to say the entire time.

First Come, First Serve!

“Sorry,” he said. “First come, first serve!” The looks on the girls’ faces were, as Hunter said, “Truly an expression I [will] never forget.” Hunter left the bakery with two dozen doughnuts and an extra spring in his step...

She Was Where?!

Hunter waited in front of the bakery for Lara to pick him up, but she was nowhere in sight. So, he called her — and was surprised to hear the amusement in her voice when she said she was in their parking spot.

Lara's Plan

Their parking spot? Sure enough, when Hunter went over to the Vespa, there was Lara parked right next to it, blocking it in. She laughed when Hunter told her about the doughnuts — and started to reveal her own plan for revenge.

Vengeance Is Sweet

But before she could finish, they heard an angry honk. It was from the Vespa, and the girls clearly weren’t expecting to see Hunter and Lara again, especially after the doughnut incident. Most of all, they weren’t expecting Lara’s own vengeful plan.

Safety First!

Hunter and Lara toasted to the victorious occasion with two doughnuts, which they ate then and there right next to the Vespa. After all, it would have been unsafe for Lara to start driving with half of a doughnut in her hand!

Satisfying Revenge

After a few long minutes of dessert-eating, the couple slowly drove away. But unlike the first time, they left their parking spot laughing and filled to the brim with doughnuts...and with the sweet satisfaction of revenge.

Unfriendly Neighbors

Of course, you don't always need a dozen donuts to get some sweet revenge. Just like Hunter and Lara, this Australian mechanic knew that all too well. The young man, known on Reddit as AngryAussieGam3r, had neighbors that were making his life a nightmare. He needed a plan.

Sour Mood

After toiling away at work all day, AngryAussie was looking forward to a night out on the town with his mates. However, he spotted something in his apartment building's garage that immediately soured his good mood.

Blocked!

Some strange car had blocked him in! He waited around, hoping the driver left the vehicle there while making a quick drop-off, but AngryAussie was out of luck. With no other option, he had to call one of his friends to pick him up instead. Then things got worse.

Starting With Kindness

In the following weeks, the rude car kept showing up at odd intervals, preventing AngryAussie from driving. He left a series of polite notes on the perpetrator's windshield, but he never saw any response or change in behavior. He couldn't believe this!

Drunken Mistake?

Frustration building, AngryAussie guessed that the driver was someone who repeatedly got drunk and conveniently "forgot" to move his car out of the way. It was a decent theory, but he had no hard evidence of how to identify this serial jerk.

Shameless

AngryAussie came across countless examples of people responding to bad parking jobs on the internet. Unfortunately, this car owner didn't seem to respond at all to shame. The mechanic would have to apply a different strategy — and fast.

A Can't-Miss Obligation

The rude neighbor was making him late on an unpredictable basis. He never knew when to expect the car to block him in, so he would often have to walk or hitch a ride without warning. And AngryAussie had one upcoming obligation he couldn't miss.

Group Trip

It wasn't often that he and his six closest friends could all get together, but they had a weekend getaway coming up that required AngryAussie's car. In order for the special trip to happen, he needed to make sure he wasn't parked in.

No More Mr. Nice Guy

Hoping the proper authorities could take care of the problem, AngryAussie contacted his building manager. The guy refused to even address the problem, or even identify the car's owner, so the mechanic decided to get more serious.

It's Up To Him

When he found himself parked in yet again, AngryAussie called a towing company. Because his vehicle was up on the garage's third story, however, they would not accept the job. He would have to take matters into his own hands.

The Right Tool

Not long before his big trip, AngryAussie searched through his auto shop for some tool to help him out of this jam. He smiled — a rarity in those days — as he came across just what he was looking for.

He Was Prepared

The morning of their big vacation, AngryAussie and his friends entered his garage to find the worst possible scenario. The jerk blocked his car again! Strangely, AngryAussie didn't lose his cool. He just ran upstairs and grabbed a strange metal contraption.

A Group Effort

He explained to his pals that he borrowed a vehicle positioning jack. Its wheels and hydraulic pump would allow them to easily lift up a parked car and move it wherever they wanted. Rubbing their hands in glee, the friends got it in position.

Dangerous Work

As they boosted the car up, AngryAussie's eyes darted around the garage. While they weren't doing anything illegal — like stealing the car — it might not look that way to any security guards in the area.

Pushing The Car

Luckily, the coast looked clear. Moving as quickly as they could while pushing a two-ton car, the seven mates each got a handhold and started to heave it toward a distant, dark corner of the garage. AngryAussie's plan soon became apparent.

Sweet Sweet Victory

He found a spot at the end of the garage where they fit the rude neighbor's car perfectly in between the wall and a pillar. The owner would easily be able to enter or exit the car, but moving it would be another matter.

150 Point Turns

With only a few inches of space at the front and back of the vehicle, its driver would have a miserable time getting it out. Most likely, he'd have to angle it forward and backward a staggering number of times to pull it out of the spot.

No More Sour Moods

Satisfied with their work, AngryAussie and his six friends jumped in his car and sped out of the garage. Each of them agreed they'd never had so much fun parking a car before. They were far from your typical valet service...

The Scene Of The Crime

Even while enjoying his getaway, AngryAussie couldn't help but wonder about the jerk driver. How long would it take him to find his car? Would he even try moving it? Upon getting home days later, he immediately returned to the scene of the "crime" to check.

Revenge Is Sweet

Understandably, the car was still there. But a few days later, the unimaginable happened: AngryAussie never saw the problem car again! Even though the clever mechanic got some revenge, territorial villains exist everywhere. There's no telling if the mysterious rude parker will ever return for revenge of his own...
