These Are The Must-See Shows On Netflix In March, According To Experts And Fans

There are 2,265 TV shows streaming on Netflix right now. Some of them are loved by critics. Some of them are loved by fans. All of them are just a few clicks away from your screen. When faced with these kinds of choices, though, how is anybody ever supposed to know just what to watch? Well, that's where our guide comes in. We've combined critic ratings, audience scores, and viewing figures to offer you the definitive list of the must-see shows currently streaming on Netflix US.

40. Bridgerton

Creators: Chris Van Dusen

Stars: Nicola Coughlan, Luke Thompson, Jonathan Bailey

Genre: Historical romance

Our score: 80.8

Seasons one and two of Bridgerton are both nestled safely in the top ten most-watched English-language shows on Netflix. Each season amassed over 600 million hours of viewing in its first 28 days of release. So it should come as no surprise that not only is a third season of the show on the way, but there is also a spin-off coming soon. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is the title of the prequel series, and it could be the start of a brand new Bridgerton-verse!

39. From Scratch

Creators: Attica Locke, Tembi Locke

Stars: Zoe Saldana, Eugenio Mastrandrea, Danielle Deadwyler

Genre: Drama

Our score: 80.8

Zoe Saldana had quite the year in 2022. Not only did she star in Avatar: The Way of Water — which made more than $2.1 billion at the worldwide box office — she also had a Netflix hit with From Scratch. Upon its release, the limited series beat The Watcher to become the most-watched Netflix show of that week. Viewers in 84 different countries spent over 72 million hours watching this tender adaptation of Tembi Locke's bestselling memoir.

38. The Umbrella Academy

Creators: Steve Blackman, Jeremy Slater

Stars: Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda

Genre: Action, adventure

Our score: 81.0

According to the Nielsen 2022 streaming rankings, The Umbrella Academy was the 13th-most-watched original streaming program of the year. Fans watched 10.5 billion minutes of the super-powered show's 30 episodes throughout 2022. That's over 1 billion more minutes than Amazon's significantly pricier The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Unfortunately, though, the next season of The Umbrella Academy will be the last. “I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey we began five years ago,” showrunner Steve Blackman has said.

37. Wednesday

Creators: Alfred Gough, Miles Millar

Stars: Jenna Ortega, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White

Genre: Comedy, fantasy

Our score: 81.2

You're reading this list, so there's a good chance you've heard about Wednesday. It became the third Netflix series to post more than 1 billion viewing hours in its first 28 days and quickly — unsurprisingly — earned itself a season-two renewal. Co-creator Miles Millar has promised more of the Addams family next season, too. “We felt like we just touched the surface with those characters and the actors are so amazing in those roles,” Miles Millar told TV Line.

36. All of Us Are Dead

Creators: Chun Sung-il, Lee Jae-kyoo, Kim Nam-su

Stars: Park Ji-hu, Chan-Young Yoon, Yi-Hyun Cho

Genre: Action, fantasy

Our score: 81.8

All of Us Are Dead had the good fortune of hitting Netflix right after Squid Game broke all of its viewership records. It seemed that audiences around the globe were hungry for more Korean dramas — and All of Us Are Dead perfectly fit the bill. The zombie series was an immediate hit, blazing its way to 361 million viewing hours in ten days and 560 million in 28 days. And it wasn't just U.S. and Korean audiences who fell for the show — 91 countries around the world made it their most-watched series in its first week of release. Can All of Us Are Dead repeat the trick in season two?

35. Elite

Creators: Darío Madrona, Carlos Montero

Stars: Omar Ayuso, Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Bernardeau

Genre: Crime, thriller

Our score: 83.3

If you've yet to register for Elite, then now is the perfect time to start. There are currently six seasons of the immensely popular show to catch up on — with a seventh one on the way. How popular? Well, season three alone clocked up 275,300,000 hours of viewing time in its first month. The Spanish mystery series is set in a luxurious private school and goes to places Gossip Girl would never have dared.

34. Alice in Borderland

Creators: Shinsuke Sato

Stars: Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Nijirô Murakami

Genre: Action, mystery

Our score: 87.5

Season two of Alice in Borderland hit Netflix on December 22, 2022 — and was a runaway success. The action-packed season immediately entered the global top ten for non-English shows. In the week from January 16 to January 22, this season alone racked up 15,680,000 hours viewed. And on top of that, the show was in the top ten for 23 different countries around the world. It is, in short, the most-watched Japanese TV show on Netflix. More importantly, though, it's also very good.

33. I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson

Creators: Zach Kanin, Tim Robinson

Stars: Tim Robinson, Patti Harrison, Sam Richardson

Genre: Comedy

Our score: 83.3

Sketch comedy series don't tend to have long runs on Netflix — but I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is bucking the trend. The show is not a ratings success by any normal measure, but it does bring some prestige to the streamer's comedy line-up. Co-creator Tim Robinson won an Emmy for his performance in season two, and the series won a Writer's Guild of America Award for sketch comedy for both seasons. That's probably why I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is getting a third season soon.

32. Outlander

Creators: Ronald D. Moore

Stars: Caitríona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton

Genre: Fantasy, romance

Our score: 83.3

Outlander is not a Netflix Original, but it's still one of the most beloved shows on the service. The problem is that Netflix only has the first five seasons of the Starz show — with season six not likely to appear on Netflix until 2024. If you're an Outlander diehard, then, it could be worth looking to get a Starz subscription. Season seven is going to drop later this year, with the eighth and final season coming after that. Oh, and then you'll have a prequel series called Blood of My Blood to look forward to as well.

31. Shadow and Bone

Creators: Eric Heisserer

Stars: Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Archie Renaux

Genre: Action, adventure

Our score: 80.0

Shadow and Bone burst back into our ranking after the second season dropped in March. If creator Eric Heisserer is to be believed, the second season of this fantasy epic is bigger and better than ever. "The Grishaverse also expands in this season, both in mythology and in characters," he said in a statement. "In doing so, we expand the world, we go to new locations, we visit Novyi Zem and Shu Han, and those are all integral to the narrative."

30. You

Creators: Sera Gamble, Greg Berlanti

Stars: Penn Badgley, Victoria Pedretti, Tati Gabrielle

Genre: Crime, drama, romance

Our score: 84.0

Things could have turned out very differently for You. The show actually debuted on Lifetime — and struggled to make any kind of an impact. It was then swiftly canceled after its first season... until Netflix's inspired decision to take things over. The first season of the show — which dropped at the end of 2018 — was a monster hit and has since spawned two further seasons.

29. Russian Doll

Creators: Leslye Headland, Natasha Lyonne, Amy Poehler

Stars: Natasha Lyonne, Charlie Barnett, Greta Lee

Genre: Comedy, mystery

Our score: 84.3

Will there be another season of Russian Doll? At this point, no one knows for sure. The first season dropped in 2019 to universal acclaim and three Emmy wins. But then fans had to wait over three years to get a second season about Natasha Lyonne's Nadia Vulvokov. And while the series hasn't been canceled, it hasn't exactly been greenlit, either. Lyonne has also just put out a whole new show — Poker Face on Peacock — that surely means very little has happened behind the scenes of Russian Doll. But here's hoping for another season in 2025...

28. Lockwood & Co.

Creators: Joe Cornish, Nira Park, Rachel Prior

Stars: Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, Ali Hadji-Heshmati

Genre: Mystery

Our score: 84.5

Lockwood & Co. landed on Netflix right at the end of January 2023 — and immediately became one of the most-watched shows that week. The spooky young adult show is based on novels by Jonathan Stroud and sees teenage paranormal investigators taking on otherworldly investigations. Critics compared Lockwood & Co. to shows such as Stranger Things and Doctor Who — as well as that perennial favorite, Ghostbusters. So it's definitely in good company!

27. Wrong Side of the Tracks

Creators: David Bermejo

Stars: Jose Coronado, Nona Sobo, Felipe Londoño

Genre: Action, adventure, crime

Our score: 84.7

Season two of Wrong Side of the Tracks — or, in the original Spanish, Entrevías — hit Netflix at the beginning of March 2023 and immediately spent two weeks in the top 10. The show follows a war veteran who goes on a revenge-fueled mission after losing his grandkid to local drug dealers. And while they may make it sound a bit like the Clint Eastwood movie Gran Torino, this prestige TV offering has a lot more going on under the surface. A third season is on the cards, too.

26. Never Have I Ever

Creators: Lang Fisher, Mindy Kaling

Stars: Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Darren Barnet

Genre: Comedy

Our score: 84.8

In bittersweet news for fans, Netflix announced in 2022 that Never Have I Ever will have a fourth season in 2023 — but that it will be the show's final outing. Bela Bajaria, the Head of Global TV at Netflix, described in a statement how Never Have I Ever is "everything [it wants] in a Netflix comedy series: authentic, specific, funny, and full of heart." While co-creators Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling said, "We can’t wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you."

25. Lost Ollie

Creators: Shannon Tindle

Stars: Jake Johnson, Gina Rodriguez, Jonathan Groff

Genre: Animation, adventure

Our score: 85.0

One look at the talent behind this heartfelt animated adventure should let you know you're in good hands. Creator Shannon Tindle previously worked on the universally acclaimed Kubo and the Two Strings. Director Peter Ramsay won an Oscar for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. And the story is based on the book Ollie's Odyssey by William Joyce, who also has an Oscar to his name. The story follows a patchwork rabbit looking for his best friend.

24. Sweet Tooth

Creators: Jim Mickle, Beth Schwartz

Stars: Nonso Anozie, Christian Convery, Aliza Vellani

Genre: Action, adventure

Our score: 85.0

Season one of Sweet Tooth dropped in the middle of a real-world pandemic — yet somehow the show about a killer virus managed to become a hit. Critics and audiences were able to see past the prescient concept of Sweet Tooth to find its inner charm and joy. And in an always-good sign, Netflix has commissioned a second season of the adventures of this half-deer, half-human.

23. Squid Game

Creators: Hwang Dong-hyuk

Stars: Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Hoyeon

Genre: Action, mystery

Our score: 85.4

If you haven't heard of Squid Game, then you must have been living under a rock in 2021. The South Korean series was a global phenomenon. According to Netflix, the show is its single most-watched season of television. Its eye-popping 1,650,450,000 hours viewed in its first 28 days dwarves the figure posted by the fourth season of Stranger Things by almost 300,000,000. Look out for a Squid Game reality TV series coming soon — as well as the second season of the main show.

22. Cobra Kai

Creators: Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg

Stars: Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler

Genre: Action, comedy

Our score: 85.5

The Karate Kid is an enduring classic from the 1980s — but we're guessing that nobody expected it to get such a popular second round in the 21st century. Cobra Kai picked up the story of The Karate Kid decades later and ran with it. The show even survived the transition from YouTube to Netflix after its first two seasons to become a mainstay on the streaming platform. Season six will drop in 2023 — but it will be the last time fans will get to enter the dojo.

21. The Crown

Creators: Peter Morgan

Stars: Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, Imelda Staunton

Genre: Historical drama

Our score: 85.5

The Crown has proved to be such a success that people have started to worry it might have a negative influence on viewers' opinions. Judi Dench, for instance, called the show out for what she called “crude sensationalism.” The actor all but demanded that The Crown carried a disclaimer warning that it is “fictionalized drama” — not a documentary — ahead of every episode. Yet the show about the British royals has been going great guns for years without such a caveat — so we can't imagine the upcoming sixth and final season will have one, either.

20. Unorthodox

Creators: Anna Winger

Stars: Shira Haas, Amit Rahav, Jeff Wilbusch

Genre: Drama

Our score: 85.8

Unorthodox could be a description of the making of the show, as well as its title. For one thing, the actors had to take a crash course in Yiddish so that they could speak the language realistically. The production then became the first show from Germany to primarily use Yiddish on screen. But the effort clearly paid off, as Unorthodox earned no fewer than eight Emmy nods — and one win for director Maria Schrader. "We thought [Unorthodox] would only be watched in Germany,” Schrader told newspaper The Times of Israel. “We put something out there we thought was under the radar, but you just never know.”

19. Maid

Creators: Molly Smith Metzler

Stars: Margaret Qualley, Nick Robinson, Rylea Nevaeh Whittet

Genre: Drama

Our score: 86.3

The debut of Maid was so successful that Netflix subsequently entered into an overall deal with creator Molly Smith Metzler. Metzler's adaptation of Stephanie Land’s memoir, Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive, was met with critical praise and an intimidatingly large audience. That must have been thrilling for lead actor Margaret Qualley, whose commitment to the role involved spending every Sunday out of work with her on-screen daughter. “We were really glued together,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

18. Lupin

Creators: George Kay

Stars: Omar Sy, Ludivine Sagnier, Hervé Pierre

Genre: Action, crime

Our score: 86.4

When it dropped like a bolt out of the blue in January 2021 Lupin became essential lockdown viewing. Fans clocked up an astonished 316,830,000 hours of viewing in the first month alone. The problem was that there were only five episodes of the crime saga — and no sign of any more dropping anytime soon. In fact, Lupin stans had to wait six months to get the second chunk of episodes. And now? Well, people have been waiting for over 18 months for more installments, and they'll probably going to have to wait another six months before Lupin: Part 3 materializes.

17. The Haunting of Hill House

Creators: Mike Flanagan

Stars: Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas

Genre: Horror

Our score: 87.3

Critic Brian Tallerico called The Haunting of Hill House "terrifying, moving" and "essential viewing." Horror novelist Stephen King called it "close to a work of genius." Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino said, "My favorite series, with no competition, is The Haunting of Hill House." So even though this series is almost five years old, it's still well worth checking it. A sequel series, The Haunting of Bly Manor, isn't bad, either.

16. Delhi Crime

Creators: Richie Mehta

Stars: Shefali Shah, Rajesh Tailang, Rasika Dugal

Genre: Crime

Our score: 87.7

The first season of Delhi Crime made entertainment history. It was the first series of Indian TV to ever win an Emmy — after it grabbed the Outstanding Drama Series award at the International Emmys. But — as you might expect with a show called Delhi Crime — it's not exactly an easy watch. The events in both seasons of the show were inspired by real-life crimes, with the first tackling gang rape and the second taking on stone-cold killers.

15. Sex Education

Creators: Laurie Nunn

Stars: Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa

Genre: Comedy

Our score: 87.8

Sex Education was a hit the moment it dropped on Netflix. The streaming giant said the first season raced to around 40 million views inside its first month on the service. There have been two more seasons since then — with critics praising the latest one as "a masterclass in brutally honest, brilliantly heartfelt comedy," according to Rotten Tomatoes. Unsurprisingly, then, a fourth season is on the way.

14. Top Boy

Creators: Ronan Bennett

Stars: Ashley Walters, Kano, Micheal Ward

Genre: Crime, thriller

Our score: 87.8

Netflix may not have commissioned the original season of Top Boy — but the streamer is responsible for giving it a new lease of life. The crime series first started in 2011 on Channel 4 in the U.K., but it was dropped after just two seasons. Then Netflix began streaming the show to international audiences, and suddenly the creators got the call to put it back into production. Now Top Boy has got such a solid fan base that season five is set to drop in 2023.

13. Peaky Blinders

Creators: Steven Knight

Stars: Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle

Genre: Crime

Our score: 87.8

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has gone on the record to say that a Peaky movie should hit theaters in 2024. He told Variety magazine that it would "be a fitting conclusion" to the TV show — and could possibly lead to a bunch of spin-off series for fans to devour. Oh, and don't worry: Cillian Murphy is on board to put on Tommy Shelby's famous hat one more time. So put that one in your calendar — by order of the Peaky Blinders!

12. Mo

Creators: Mohammed Amer, Ramy Youssef

Stars: Mohammed Amer, Teresa Ruiz, Omar Elba

Genre: Comedy

Our score: 88.0

Reading the synopsis of Mo out of context might make you believe the show is a hard-hitting drama. It follows a Palestinian refugee as he tries to get citizenship in the U.S. in a world seemingly set against him. But when you realize the show comes from comedian Mohammed Amer and Ramy creator Ramy Youssef, you know there are going to be plenty of laughs in among the heartache. And so it proves with Mo — a hit with audiences and critics that has a second season in the pipeline.

11. Full Swing

Creators: Chad Mumm, Mark W. Olsen, Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees, Warren Smith

Stars: Amanda Renner, Dylan Dethier, Sean Foley

Genre: Documentary, sport

Our score: 91.0

Richard Roeper from the Chicago Sun-Times wrote that Full Swing is "a binge-worthy PGA Tour reality show even a casual fan can love." And it seems that he was absolutely right. Even people who find golf boring have tuned in to check out this immersive look behind the scenes of a season at the highest level of professional golf.

10. Stranger Things

Creators: The Duffer Brothers

Stars: Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder

Genre: Fantasy, horror

Our score: 88.6

Stranger Things was the biggest show on any streaming platform in 2022. According to Nielsen, avid fans clocked up 52 billion minutes of viewing across the entire year. That's almost 14 billion more minutes that its closest rival! Breaking it down further, the fourth season of Stranger Things — released in 2022 — is the most-watched season of English-language TV in Netflix history. People watched 1,352,090,000 hours of this season alone in the month following its release. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until at least 2024 for season five.

9. The Queen's Gambit

Creators: Scott Frank, Allan Scott

Stars: Anya Taylor-Joy, Chloe Pirrie, Bill Camp

Genre: Drama

Our score: 88.8

You know a show has made a massive cultural impact when it inspires action in the real world. And in the case of The Queen's Gambit, that meant getting lots of people to start playing chess. It's perhaps unsurprising when you discover that the show quickly became Netflix's most-watched original scripted series, with 62 million homes checking it out upon release.

8. Alchemy of Souls

Creators: Studio Dragon

Stars: Jae-Wook Lee, Min-Hyun Hwang, Joon-Sang Yoo

Genre: Action, fantasy

Our score: 89.0

Alchemy of Souls has yet to crack the top ten of Netflix's all-time most-watched non-English shows — but it can't be long now. At the end of January 2023, the first part of this fantasy epic had spent an incredible 19 weeks in Netflix's top-ten global rankings. Its unique mix of magic, romance, and undead souls stalking the Earth certainly seems to have struck a chord with international audiences. Both parts are available to binge right now on the streaming service, too.

7. The Last Kingdom

Creators: Stephen Butchard

Stars: Alexander Dreymon, Emily Cox, David Dawson

Genre: Historical, action

Our score: 89.8

If you ever needed proof that people love programs about Vikings, then look no further than The Last Kingdom. When Nielsen released its 2022 streaming chart for original shows on streamers, The Last Kingdom took the 14th spot —notching up an incredible 10.4 billion minutes viewed. Netflix will be looking forward to another hit when the show's movie sequel lands in 2023.

6. Better Call Saul

Creators: Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould

Stars: Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn, Jonathan Banks

Genre: Crime

Our score: 90.3

Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul earned the Golden Tomato Award for the most critically acclaimed drama series on television in 2022. The show's elegant conclusion capped six seasons of the best TV has to offer — and even brought back some Breaking Bad favorites for good measure. The only thing fans were confused by was how the show never once won an Emmy.

5. Fauda

Creators: Lior Raz, Avi Issacharoff

Stars: Lior Raz, Hisham Suliman, Shadi Mar'i

Genre: Action, adventure

Our score: 90.7

The fourth season of Fauda spent two weeks in the top ten of Netflix's global rankings at the end of January 2023. According to the streamer's figures, the newly released episodes of Fauda streamed for 19,210,000 hours in the last week of the month. British newspaper The Daily Telegraph said season four is "engrossing" and "quick to crank up its thrills and spills." Website Decider agreed, claiming the show "is never boring to watch." It seems like a pretty good bet that season five will soon ramp up production, then.

4. Derry Girls

Creators: Lisa McGee

Stars: Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Tara Lynne O'Neill

Genre: Comedy

Our score: 90.8

Derry Girls ended after three seasons in 2022 — meaning it's just about eligible for our list. But, according to creator Lisa McGee, it "was always the plan to say goodbye" after the 19th episode of the hit show about Irish school girls growing up in the '90s. And part of the reason the comedy was a smash was that Netflix was able to put it under the noses of an international audience.

3. Heartstopper

Creators: Alice Oseman

Stars: Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Yasmin Finney

Genre: Drama, romance

Our score: 92.0

This LGBTQ+ coming-of-age story captured the public imagination so much in 2022 that Netflix couldn't wait to make more. The streamer quickly greenlit two more seasons of Heartstopper, with season two set to air at some point in 2023. For now, though, fans are more than content to watch a show "so wonderful that the mere mention of [it] can make you smile," according to USA Today.

2. The Glory

Creators: Kim Eun-sook, An Gil-ho

Stars: Song Hye-Kyo, Lee Do-Hyun, Ji-Yeon Lim

Genre: Mystery, thriller

Our score: 94.5

With a title like The Glory, you might be expecting some kind of uplifting sports drama. But one look at this South Korean drama lets you know that nothing could be further from the truth. It's the story of long-gestating revenge as a teacher returns to the school where she was bullied as a child. But in a cruel twist, it's the children of her bullies that become her targets.

1. Extraordinary Attorney Woo

Creators: Yoo In-sik, Moon Ji-won

Stars: Park Eun-bin, Kang Tae-oh, Kang Ki-young

Genre: Drama

Our score: 94.8

Extraordinary Attorney Woo is the sixth-most-watched non-English TV show in Netflix history. In the first month after its release, viewers around the globe clocked up a staggering 402,470,000 hours watching the courtroom drama. The show hasn't made it into the streamer's top-ten charts in the U.S., so now could be a good time to check it out. It's a charming show about a genius attorney on the autism spectrum that is by turns funny and affecting. Case closed.

Methodology

To create our list of the must-see Netflix shows to watch right now, we first put together the highest-rated TV shows currently streaming on Netflix U.S., according to IMDb, Metacritic, and Rotten Tomatoes. We then combed through the list to disqualify ongoing series that aired their last episodes prior to 2022 or had abnormal ratings that skewed the figures — for example, a 100 percent RT rating with only two or three reviews.

We then combined the IMDb, Metacritic, Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, and Rotten Tomatoes’ audience scores for each TV show — multiplying the IMDb score by 10 to make the math work — and arrived at an average score for all of them. TV shows that appear in Netflix's top-ten most-watched series each week or of all time get extra credit, too.

The TV show with the highest average after all of this makes the top of our list. Ties were split by their IMDb scores.

Honorable mentions

The Netflix top ten most-watched shows updates every week, and the shows that make the list is constantly changing. New shows arrive, old shows leave, and fans move on to the next on-trend TV drama. It's the nature of the beast, then, that some shows that were once on our list will fall off of it after a while. These shows are still worthy of your time, though — and get an honorable mention below!

The Witcher

Creators: Lauren Schmidt

Stars: Henry Cavill, Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra

Genre: Action, adventure

Our score: 79.6

The first season of The Witcher remains one of the most-watched seasons of TV on Netflix. In fact, the show is so popular that a second season and an animated movie were released in 2021, a prequel miniseries — The Witcher: Blood Origin — came out in 2022, and two more seasons of The Witcher are in the pipeline. The third season — the last to star Henry Cavill — will find its way to your screens in the summer of 2023.

The Walking Dead

Creators: Frank Darabont

Stars: Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride

Genre: Horror

Our score: 83.2

The Walking Dead came to a finish after 11 seasons in November 2022. Just over 3 million fans tuned in to see how the zombie apocalypse drama concluded its incredible run. But the final season didn't drop on Netflix until January 6, 2023 — and it seems that plenty of people waited until then to catch up. After all, this season of The Walking Dead has held its spot in the top 10 most-watched shows on Netflix U.S. for four weeks. Don't worry if you've never seen an episode, though: the entire run will be available to stream on Netflix for the next four years.

Physical: 100

Creators: Jang Ho-gi

Stars: Sung-Bin Yun, Miracle Nelson, Hyunseung Cha

Genre: Reality

Our score: 84.3

The concept is a simple one. As Netflix states, "One hundred contestants in top physical shape compete in a series of grueling challenges to claim the honor — and cash reward — as the last one standing." But it is the execution that really sets this reality competition apart from the back. Best of all, it's an ongoing challenge — so nobody knows how it's going to end!

Ozark

Creators: Bill Dubuque, Mark Williams

Stars: Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Julia Garner

Genre: Crime, thriller

Our score: 80.3

Over the course of four seasons, Ozark has scored four Emmy wins. One went to star Jason Bateman — for directing the episode "Reparations" — and the other three are now in co-star Julia Garner's trophy cabinet. Garner won't get a chance to add to the show's haul, though, as the crime drama came to a gripping conclusion in 2022. Netflix might have regretted that when it saw that Ozark was the second-most-streamed original show of 2022 — behind only Stranger Things.
