40 Of The Most Hilarious 'Proof-Of-Delivery' Photos Out There

The doorbell rings. You’re not dressed to the nines, but you still answer it anyway. You open the door to a delivery driver who left your package on the stoop, so you bend down to grab it. And, as you do, a light flashes in your eye – from the worker’s phone as they take a picture of you receiving your delivery. While this is the best way to prove an item was received, many drivers are snapping hilarious photos of their customers in the process. Only a brave few share them on the internet — and we’ve scoped out the best of them for your viewing pleasure!

40. A Lesson In Fashion And Proof-Of-Delivery Photos

This guy’s outfit deserves an Instagram post all on its own. But add in the fact that he has worn a maroon suit, gold chain and black loafers to collect his latest parcel and, well, you’ve got an iconic moment in the proof-of-delivery photo hall of fame!

39. Wildlife-Stopped Delivery

Not all funny delivery photos feature an actual product. In this case, the driver attempted to drop a package to a Reddit user, but, as their note reads, there was a “racoon on [the] porch [with] babies.” When the mammal family wouldn’t move, well, neither would the package-holder – hence the we’ll-try-again-later message.

38. Branching Out

Perhaps the ground is a bit wet, so the delivery person can’t leave a package there. What’s the next best option? Well, it seems that placing the item into a plastic bag, then hanging it from a tree was what one pioneering driver did, according to this Redditor. While certainly unique, we can’t say that it’s subtle!

37. Eyes On The Prize

Delivery drivers are well aware that security cameras and smart doorbells are often watching them as they make drop-offs along their routes. That’s not nearly as creepy as not knowing who – or what – is watching them while they work, mind you. This proof-of-delivery photo uploaded onto Reddit reveals a cat lurking at the front door, and the flash lights up the feline’s eyes in the most disturbing way.

36. Collect And Serve

Not all proof-of-delivery photos are funny or creepy, of course. Some of them are actually seriously fashionable occasions! So, the next time you notice your delivery driver whipping out their phone to snap a picture of the successfully dropped-off package, don’t hesitate to give them a little pose, just like this person did.

35. Package Delivery, But Make It Fashion

Joyceeh Hernandez Epino was tired of looking unprepared for the proof-of-delivery photos that drivers took after handing her a parcel. So, she came up with the most ridiculous way of remedying that. Epino set up a backdrop that said “I received it” in Filipino and started posing with her packages in front of it!

34. Making It Work

Epino’s pictures are obviously hilarious, but they serve a greater purpose. Apparently, she wanted to use the photos to make people across the Philippines smile. The woman told GMA News Online that she came up with the silly idea “in the spirit of spreading love and good vibes in a nation torn by political divide, natural disasters, global pandemic and a plethora of social issues…”

33. Waiting For My Package Like…

You know when you’re excited for a delivery, so you sit by the window and wait for the van to pull up? It looks like this pooch did the same – waiting for a package from a website that sells pet supplies. We’re guessing there were some good treats and toys in that box…

32. Hiding Spots

We have to give the delivery driver credit here. Maybe they knew what they were delivering was urgently needed, and so, they hid the package where no one, not even the customer, would be able to find it. Take that, package thieves!

31. Message Not Received

How can you get your delivery driver’s attention if you’re not standing by the door when they arrive? As this Imgur post rightly points out, the logical answer to this question is to leave a note close to where they deliver packages. And yet, the driver responsible for Mr. and Mrs. Currier’s drop-offs paid no mind to their message. Instead of knocking, they left their unable-to-deliver note right on top of the couple’s. Ouch.

30. That’s One Way To Prove A Drop-Off

The Reddit user who received this hilarious proof-of-delivery pic said their apartment building always sent pictures when a package arrived. Most of the snapshots featured the mailing label, but one driver enjoyed getting a little more creative with a few hulking selfies!

29. In Case You Missed It

Imagine driving up to your home and seeing your package left in the middle of it like this. We’d argue that placing a welcome mat on top of a box makes it more noticeable than, say, just leaving it alone. But, we're not the experts!

28. It’s In Your Hands

Some delivery drivers aren’t content with a photo of a parcel sitting safely on someone’s doorstep. No, they like to take it to the next level and snap their proof-of-drop-off photo with the recipient in frame. And, clearly, they don’t always warn the person that a picture’s coming. This woman went viral on Twitter by sharing the surprise photo that her driver took.

27. ‘No One Will Ever Notice…’

Here’s an amazing package placement from a Reddit user’s friendly delivery driver. Rather than simply leaving the very obvious cardboard box on the customer’s doorstep, they hid it behind the only accessory they could find: a much smaller piece of pottery. Yep, no one will ever notice the parcel there...

26. Food’s Here

Not all delivery confirmation photos are nice cardboard boxes and envelopes. Sometimes, they feature someone’s dinner – and, occasionally, that meal has been destroyed after being left by the carrier. Just ask the Redditor who received this image as proof that their DoorDash meal had made it to them safely.

25. A Too-Perfect Fit

At first glance, this might seem like the perfect delivery, as it’s left securely in the recipient’s mailbox. Yet upon further inspection, you’ll see why this Imgur example is such a bad drop-off. The box fit in through the back opening of the mailboxes, through which the postal worker places parcels. Though from the front, there’s a bit of the lip to hold the door in place. And that addition makes the opening too small for the box to fit through.

24. Accepted By Dog

It’s one of life’s greatest struggles: who will accept the delivery if you’re not home to do it yourself? Well, this driver captured the creature who answered the door to get their parcel and uploaded the shot onto Twitter. Turns out, your dog can serve as proof that you’ve received the goods.

23. Look Up

Some proof-of-delivery examples are hilarious for their ingenuity – as opposed to the ones we like because they’re complete and utter failures. And this one posted on Imgur falls into the first category. To hide a delivery from view, this pioneering UPS driver decided to put a parcel in the support beams of the recipient’s porch. Genius.

22. A Delivery In The Sticks

Some delivery drivers go the extra mile to hide their drop-offs so that the packages stay safe until the recipient gets home. This one – the evidence of which was published on Imgur – doesn’t fall into that category, mind you. Instead, you’ve got a very large, visible box with a few branches leaned on it. Not your best work, postie.

21. Pillow Talk

Now, here’s a better example of dropping off a package so that it fits into the surroundings – courtesy of Imgur. The delivery driver here took time to angle the package just so. And their hard work paid off! From far away, the paper parcel looks like a third throw pillow on the recipient’s front porch sofa.

20. Technically, They Listened To The Directions…

The Imgur user here clearly requested that the delivery driver drop their package beneath the doormat. Technically, that direction has been followed, but there is one major issue. The massive box looks like it’s wearing a hat – it is certainly not hidden beneath the rug.

19. Under The Prickle Tree

We all have our moments where we can’t remember a word or a name for something, but one delivery driver had the ultimate brain fart. They advised the package’s recipient that the box had been left under the “prickle tree.” Turns out, they meant rose bush, and the customer promised never to call the plant by anything but its new name ever again.

18. Proof-Of-Pose Photo

It turns out that not everyone is annoyed to be featured in their proof-of-delivery photos. Some take the opportunity to strike their best poses for the camera, as this man did when he received his securely wrapped package. Rather than standing normally, he framed his face with his hands and held the box just so…

17. This Hiding Spot Rocks

Sometimes, delivery drivers aren’t always the best at makeshift camouflage. Take this shining example of a less-than-stellar hiding spot from a Twitter user. This cardboard box sits beneath a handful of rocks from the gravel driveway below. Doesn’t quite blend in though, does it?

16. A Good Boy In The Bags

When you get a delivery of groceries, you have to inspect every bag to ensure you got everything on your shopping list. But sometimes, you can trust another family member to helm the same job. Thanks to this Reddit user, we see someone’s pooch with its nose in the paper containers at just the right moment for the delivery driver to take a snapshot.

15. Signed For By Whom?!

You’re not always home when an important package arrives. In that case, you might be okay with your driver leaving your parcel with a neighbor, so long as they note who has accepted the box on the sorry-I-missed-you slip. But – as this Reddit post points out – would you be okay with the signing party to be your recycle bin?

14. One Pic’s Not Enough

Sometimes, you need lots of proof of delivery. That seems to be the case with this woman, who gave her driver multiple poses and angles for the evidential shot. She’s certainly serving looks, but we’d think that a single picture would have sufficed…

13. Unbe-Leaf-Able

Leaving a package on someone’s doorstep is often an invitation for unscrupulous types to come and claim it as their own. That’s why delivery drivers make creative decisions like this one posted on Imgur, which sees a cardboard box shoved into the heart of a very thick-looking hedge. Good luck finding it, thieves!

12. Caught In The Act

Sometimes, it’s awkward to have a planned photo taken. That’s why it’s so uncomfortable when drivers whip out their phones to take a proof-of-delivery photo with us in them. The guy seen here from a Twitter post captures the mood so perfectly with his clearly embarrassed half-smile.

11. You Before Me

Naturally, some of us love the camera. Here’s an example featuring a dog named Bambi, who helped their pet parent to collect a box delivered to the doorstep. The driver snapped the Instagram photo just in time to ensure she was featured on the proof-of-delivery slip.

10. The Total Package

Props? Check. Backdrop? Check. Full attitude and sass? Check and check. This customer has fully nailed the art of the proof-of-delivery photo shoot. In fact, we should all aspire to this level of confidence and creativity – grab your doorknob and pose with it next time you pick up a parcel on your doorstep.

9. I’m On The Edge

Sliding a package into someone’s mailbox is normally a safe way of delivering it. If the box doesn’t fit, though, most drivers would find another protective place to leave their parcel. And then, we have this guy, who clearly thought that this counted as a safely delivered box…

8. Challenge Accepted

YouTuber Michelle Fox – also known as Vavaeng Marangal – didn’t just pose for delivery photos for her own good. The influencer did so to kick off the #VavaengMarangalChallenge. This saw her invit e others to do the same and share the fruits of their photoshoot labor. Obviously, her inspirational pic came with a fully glamorous vibe.

7. You Should Be Very Proud Of Yourself

There are satisfying delivery photos, and then there’s this one posted on Imgur. The driver must have noticed that the building’s lower window seemed close in size to the package they had to drop off. So, they slipped into the pane and voila – it was a perfect fit and the ideal spot to leave the package until its owner got home to retrieve it.

6. I Tried To Get The Door, But…

Our dogs get to hang out at home all day while we work… too bad they can’t open the door and retrieve our packages for us. One pup clearly tried to do so, as shown in this drop-off photo. Their owner shared the image to Instagram and wrote, “They sent me a picture of proof of delivery, omg! [Talk] about a photobomb…”

5. A Package-Based Poll

Not all funny delivery photos show the work of drivers and mailmen – they also exalt the pioneering ideas of customers themselves. This one published on Reddit used drop-offs as a way to poll the public on their view related to the beloved comedy series The Office. Where would you put your vote?

4. Technically, The Food Has Been Delivered

As you can see in the lower left-hand side of this image, there is a food delivery bag in this Reddit photo. Of course, that’s not what your eye goes to first – there’s an entire car crash for you to pore over. That’s why it’s so shocking that this image was used as a proof-of-delivery photo for the little red backpack full of fare that you barely noticed.

3. A Pup Can Pose, Too

Sure, our stylish proof-of-delivery poses deserve recognition. But what about the handsome doggos who do the same when the driver arrives? This very good boy posed next to a package – making for a very enjoyable proof-of-delivery shot.

2. Locked In

It’s nice to have a package waiting on your doorstep when you get home. Though what happens when your delivery is shoved under your doorknob while you’re inside your abode? Well, according to this Twitter user, it means you get trapped inside and have to call for someone to let you out! Moral of the story for delivery drivers: knock really hard before jamming something into the door.

1. One Final Smile

We’re not sure if this was a happy accident or a very clever Amazon driver. Either way, they left a stack of packages that brought some serious delight to the recipient, as well as to everyone who saw the image on Reddit. With a few rolls of toilet paper and the curved Amazon logo atop each other, they made this very adorable smiley – a positively positive proof-of-delivery pic.
